Math Project (Toni Galati and Jason Merlotte)

Jason hated projects, but the only thing he hated more than projects were GROUP projects. He made his way to the library to meet his partner so they could work on their project.
Jason pulled "Julius Caesar" out of his backpack to try to get through it for English, and pulled out his iPod.
He stuck the earbuds in his ears and hit "shuffle".
"My heart's a stereo
it beats for you, so listen close.
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-ote.
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo."
He didn't care if anyone heard his music. He just wanted a moment of peace.

I walked into the library looking for my partner. I dreaded homework but I dreaded the thought of having to spend more time in school then necessary more. I finally seen him sitting at a table. I slammed my hand down on the table and it startled him."Hey!! Lets get this over with." I sat down and leaned back in the chair and glared at him. "So...what are we doing?"

Jason jumped when his partner slapped her hand on the table, and he took his headphones off.
"I don't know. I was hoping you'd have ideas." Jason said, wrapping the cord of his headphones around his iPod. He wasn't that great at math to begin with, and now he had to come up with a comic strip about it? No thank you.

"How the hell should I know. I personally could care less about this crappy project. I have better things to do with my day than sit in the library and spend time working on some stupid math homework." I said folding my arms in frustration."Which math subject are you any good at?" I was irritated and did not want to be there.

"None, to be perfectly honest with you." Jason said, a little annoyed she was getting snappy with him.
"I don't want to be here either, so let's just figure something out as fast as possible."

I rolled my eyes "Fine." I thought for a second. "Why don't we just do a comic strip on this. Kids forced to do a math project and just make it funny. Can you draw?" I couldn't draw anything but stick figures so that was out of the question for me to be drawing.

"Yeah, I can draw." Jason said. It was one of his little talents that he had. He certainly wasn't the best artist in the world, but he could at least make things look recognizable.
"If I'm drawing, you can come up with what they're saying. Deal?"
