"you do you, and i'll do you...me. i mean me...."

Skye was sitting on the front steps early in the morning. She had always gotten to school buildings early, to give her just enough time to find something random and sketch it in her sketchbook. Yesterday it was a tree, the day before that it was someone's bike, but today, she was drawing a beautiful blue bird that was on the school sign. She was a talented drawer, and she'd draw anything that she saw. Sometimes she'd even draw her classmates, despite the fact that they say she's weird and freaky for just randomly drawing them. She sighed softly, looking to the bird once more.

"I wish I was like them... I'd be great to be a bird." She smiled, reserved and quietly to herself, "...Flying free and looking down at people and watching them." She looked back to her drawing, adding detail to it's wing. Skye had a parrot name Oliver, after her of course. So technically his name was Oliver Oliver. Skye sat down with him every day, teaching him how to talk and so on. He was a smart bird. She would sighed, looking back to the bird every day. Today she was with a blue jay, it was rare because they seemed to be very very sensitive. They just seemed to love her. Why? She has not idea... "I'd love to be so pretty like you, birdy. Then maybe people would accept me." Skye never thought of herself as a pretty girl, or as a normal girl. Video games, paranormal things and art is what she lived for.

Skylar smiled, going back to her drawing.

Hi person. What'cha doin'? I said in a preppy voice. I had nothing better to do so why not start a conversation with a random person that seems to go to my school. Besides Summer and Carter, She was the only friend I had made. But I won't conisder Summer a friend. I took out my lyric pad and began looking the girl. She's drawing. Hmm. I could use that.

"Oh, erm...hi. I'm talking t..." Suddenly as Skye begun to point out what she was doing,the bird had flown away. Probably because of the new person. "...Um, well...was talking to a cute little bird. And drawing..." She told the new girl who had just approached her out of nowhere. Given her track record, especially at the Bonfire, Skylar thought she doing pretty good at socializing...
